Strengthening Financial Resilience Through Risk Management: A Systematic Literature Review of Financial Risk Assessment, Mitigation, and Decision-Making Approaches
Abstract
This study examines the role of risk management in strengthening financial resilience through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. A total of 50 peer-reviewed articles were analyzed based on the PRISMA guidelines to identify research trends related to financial risk assessment, risk mitigation strategies, and decision-making approaches. The findings indicate that effective risk management contributes to organizational financial resilience by improving risk identification, evaluation, mitigation, and strategic responses. Furthermore, digital technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data analytics enhance the ability of organizations to predict risks and support evidence-based decision-making. However, challenges remain regarding data quality, technological integration, and managing increasingly complex financial risks. This study contributes to the literature by providing a structured synthesis of previous research and highlighting the importance of integrated risk management capabilities in achieving sustainable financial resilience.
